By mere luck, Geoff Curley, a keen fisherman and Kiwi entrepreneur, discovered Ultrabite on the internet, and instantly he saw the potential of introducing the environmental friendly Ultrabite pheromone technology to the recreational fishing market.

This discovery was the beginning of the Stimulate product development. A key player in the product development phase was New Zealand chemist Bill Jennings who is still today a vital part of the Stimulate team.

Today, the Stimulate product line comprises a complete range of instant bait & burley systems, all containing the patented Ultrabite formula.
The latest Stimulate product on the market is SLAM soft baits.

STIMULATE''S SLAM with Ultrabite

Developing a soft bait enhanced with Ultrabite soon showed to be a process filled with obstacles like soft baits melting on the dashboard, and destruction of the food components when the mix was made at a too high temperature.

All at the same time, other soft bait products emerged on the market but none of these had the advantage of Ultrabite, it being a patented product.
Nevertheless, the urge of getting the formula ready intensified. 187 different formulas later, the final formula was found.

SLAM soft baits have now been tested by all the best soft bait fishermen around New Zealand and Australia, and we are proud of the feedback from everywhere.
